Should i clean my nose ring with aspirin AND wash it with soap?

I went to my piercer today because i got a tiny kelloid around my nose piercing, and i couldn't put the jewelry back in. He said to clean it with a paste made with aspirin and water. I did that, but should I also wash it in the shower with antibacterial soap? Or is the aspirin enough cleaning?Should i clean my nose ring with aspirin AND wash it with soap?
I got my nose pierced recently too, they told me to use this stuff called ivory soap? I don't have any so I use colorless scentless soap to clean it. I don't think you'd have to do both, just make sure you do one or the other regularly. :)

Edit: Never use peroxide %26amp; If you're washing your piercings when you get out of the shower, it's because shampoo and conditioner are harsh on piercings most generally. It's not the soap.Should i clean my nose ring with aspirin AND wash it with soap?
yup. the antibacterial one is enough. if you dont think so, you can ask the piercer. dont do it yet cuz the two mixed together might cause an allergic reaction or something like that.

mine please? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
I had a keloid on my Septum ring, I put bactine on it twice a day and it had gone down within a week. You can find it in first aid section of your local stores. TRUST ME it works!! I will never use anything else for piercings!
soap on peircings usually makes them infected thats why when you get the cartilige of your ears pierced you have to clean them right after you get out of the shower.............

If you are prone to keloidal scars - I would remove the piercing immediately.

This will only get worse with time and you certainly don't want keloids on your face!
ALOT OF MY FRIENDS HAVE A BELLY RING U SHUDE TRY CLEANING IT WITH ASPRIN OR BETTER WITH ALCOHOL IT WILL DISINFECT ND CLEAN UR BELLY RING.
no, y would you clean a nose ring with a pill, what would wiping aspirin pain medication on your nose ring do anything?
peroxide too.
just soap and water
I would let it sit in Hydrogen Peroxide over night.. it works for me

Walmart or any auto parts store.

If you are opening a detail business they have guys that go around and supply all kind of stuff just for that business.

http://www.carwashchemicals.com/Where do you buy car wash soap? and how much is it?
If you want to start a business washing cars, your best bet would be to buy in bulk. I would contact a company like Meguiars or Mothers and ask what their prices are.

If you are just starting a cheap little business and not a grand scale you could buy car wash at walmart or any other convenience store.
find a whole sale car detailer in your area, since your going into business it is worth it to spend the time and effort to open an account with a car detailing supplier

car soap has special oils and waxes that are needed to keep the cars clear coat from drying out and becoming vulnerable to the elements so don't try to use anything other than car soap that is made exactly for washing cars

when I was 16 I started a mobile car detailing company, it was a really good experience that I learned a lot from, plus I was making $25-$55/hour setting my own schedule and so on

google around to find books and dvd's and car detailing because its not as easy as it seems, their is a lot to know about auto detailing, it is not as easy as it seems

I went out and bought a T100 pick up for $11K, 55 gallon water tank for $90, water pump $150, generator $450, vacuum $220, hoses, products, business cards, business license, insurance etc approx. $1200

As you can see for under $15K I was up and running and within 2 weeks I was busy everyday of the week and had 30+ full time customers that I saw once week at the same time and place
i use dishwashing detergent for my car. ive had 3 cars-the paint is beautiful, it always looks nice and gentle on teh car and very affordable. just mix it with a lot of water and you have enough for 3-5 cars. goodluck!
http://www.poorboysworld.com/ I use Poorboys Super slick %26amp; suds car wash, but you can buy Meguiars at your grocery store or Target and Wal-Mart type stores. Dish detergent is a no-no as it will strip wax off the paint and leave it with no protection.

What type of soap is best to wash your butt with?

When your washing the insides of your butt when taking a shower, what are the best soaps to use. I've used dial but it kinda of sting and it just happened today so I'm thinking I should get something milder, any suggestions? What type of soap is best to wash your butt with?
    lmaooo you wash inside. hahahaaaa

idk use any soap there is? dove? What type of soap is best to wash your butt with?

But if your having problems, try something for sensitive skin. Dove is usually fragrance free and great if you're prone to irritation.

Is is advisable to use soap and water to wash off dirty hard wood floors?

The floors and windows of this century old house need cleaning before we start to sand and polish. Is it okay to scrub them with soap and water?

Or is there a better way to work on them as I plan to do it myself. Is is advisable to use soap and water to wash off dirty hard wood floors?
for your floors-- information on 'how to' from murphy's oil soap web site:

Before cleaning hardwood floors with any product, it is recommended to test the durability of the wood's finish:

    1. First wash a small, hidden area of your wood flooring with the product.

    2. If the finish doesn't change in appearance, proceed to clean according to package directions.

    3. If the finish does change in appearance, consult a wood care professional.

for antique windows, you want to remove dust and spider webs with a soft cloth before you clean the glass.

You want to avoid scratching your glass--try a gel based window cleaner, using a soft cloth--it's gentle and works well for the corners and edges of your windows. Is is advisable to use soap and water to wash off dirty hard wood floors?
Soap can leave a residue.Try using Lysol liquid with some vinegar water.Or Murphys wood oil soap.
Before sanding and finishing use ammonia to clean wax off floors, as the ammonia will cut the old wax.

I just sanded and finished a house built in 1930, and it turned out beautiful, if you don't know how to run a drum sander and edger , then I would hire some one to do this. I drove from Florida to ILL, to do this for my granddaughter.
Use an oil soap or a cleaner specificly for hard wood. Never use lysol or harsh cleaners.

How to make mild hand wash liquid soap at home ?

An all natural, very mild liquid soap for

    everyday use in your

    kitchen or bath.

    Ingredients: (Makes 2 - 8 oz bottles)

    All ingredients were measured.

2 cups of grated (cured) castile soap

    1 tablespoon of palm oil

    1 teaspoon vodka

    1/2 tablespoon glycerin (optional)

1/2 teaspoon lemon essential oil (or any EO)

1/2 teaspoon grapefruit essential oil (or any EO)

1/2 teaspoon eucalyptus essential oil (or any EO)

2 1/2-3 cups of spring or distilled water

    2 pump or foaming bottles

Over low heat and in a double-boiler pan, add grated

soap, palm oil, glycerin and water. Simmer until all the

soap has melted and is liquefied. Add vodka. Remove

from heat and let cool slightly before adding the

essential oils, mix well. Let cool completely before

pouring into bottle and check the consistency

(if too thick, add more spring water and stir).

Using a funnel, slowly pour liquid soap into chosen

bottle. Avoid any lumpy soap that may have not

melted from going into the funnel. Label and use.

  • What is the best face wash or soap bar to use against acne?

i have a lot of acne. What is the best face wash or soap bar to use against acne?
palmers skin sucess skin soap that works goodWhat is the best face wash or soap bar to use against acne?
I've used Biore, Clean and Clear, Noxema, Neutrogena, Phisoderm, PropaPh, Stridex, and SeaBreeze.

I use Pro-Activ, and it works great, and my daughter uses it too. It really does work. We have had the best results with Pro-Activ.

If your acne is really severe, you may want to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist as well. You may need a topical prescription if it's really bad.
    clean and clear:)

When you use the pre wash setting on your washing machine, do you add more soap for the actual washing cycle?

There is a separate compartment for the pre-wash powder-look in your users manual.

It is surprising how many people don't know this! LOLWhen you use the pre wash setting on your washing machine, do you add more soap for the actual washing cycle?
not a boring question whatsoever. i bet loads of folk don't know for sure. anyway the pre-wash helps to break down more soiled items like football kits, mucky jeans, so wetting them first helps the detergent to soak in better to clean clothes. i don't even put anything in the pre-wash department. When you use the pre wash setting on your washing machine, do you add more soap for the actual washing cycle?
No, there is usually a small sized powder tray for the pre wash powder by the side of the tray for actual wash.

You put the extra powder in the pre wash powder tray
yes u do thr pre wash is used usually just to soak a bad stain
    what a boring question
    yes

Wash hands with soap and water dry them with towel, then wash face..is that right?

wash hands with soap and water dry them then wash face is this the way to do it?Wash hands with soap and water dry them with towel, then wash face..is that right?
You can do it any way that you wish.Wash hands with soap and water dry them with towel, then wash face..is that right?
That is a great question because washing your hands first removes all the every day dirt etc from your hands. Then wash your face because I think your face would be more prone to break outs . Hands are easier to take care of
Why do you want to dry your hands if you need to get them wet again to wash your face immediately afterwards?
No, first wet your hands, then use the soap, rub hands vigorously to cause friction thus making a thick lather. Lather up half way to your elbows. Paying attention to the fore thumb and nail areas. Wash continuously for 60 seconds and rinse thoroughly. Relather with an appropriate facial cleanser and wash face in an outward, upward circular motion. Rinse thoroughly!! Then pat your face dry then finish drying your hands. Your done!!!
you can skip drying your hands since they are just gonna get wet again but that all sounds good to me.

Would using a bar of soap and water to wash my face work better against acne than just using water?

I wash my face with water twice a day to try and fight my acne and I was wondering if a bar of soap will help?

Thanks.Would using a bar of soap and water to wash my face work better against acne than just using water?
You need warm soapy water to loosen the grime embedded in the pore of the oil glands and the sweat glands. Washing with or rinsing in plain water won't do it. Wash gently, massaging the soap with a soft wash rag and than rinse good with water.Would using a bar of soap and water to wash my face work better against acne than just using water?
I would suggest buying a mild face wash that gently exfoliates your skin. This way all the little bits of dirt thats clogged up will slowly be removed. If you don't want an exfoliating face wash, then theres plenty of other mild ones that are like soaps but not as perfume/fragrance based. If you live in the UK, the i'd recommend face washes such as St Ives (exfoliating) or Simple (mild and fragrance free).

Oh, and avoid using soap bars that are used on the body for your face!
    Hi there,

Using soap is the last thing you should wash your face with if you suffer from acne, like I did, it will only make it worse. If you are looking for a cost effective acne treatment which will also deep cleanse your skin, then try this. It is totally natural and works like nothing else out there. Good luck :-)

I would suggest using organic soap or just a mild one. Just try to pay attention to the ingredient list on the packaging helps a lot =)

Okay has anyone used Tea Tree Oil soap to wash up with and or shave with or both... how'd is work out?

I use it to soothe my acne, and it does work somewhat. I saw on the news a couple years ago that men and boys should not use tea tree products, because it causes increased production of female hormones. On this news story a couple of boys were growing boobs, and it was found that tea tree in their shampoo was the cause!Okay has anyone used Tea Tree Oil soap to wash up with and or shave with or both... how'd is work out?
The combination of Tea Tree Oil soap and the Clindamycin cream is the best for Acne and pimple. These work wonders. Maybe it will work on you too.

Try searching it through Google 'shopaholic's bargains'Okay has anyone used Tea Tree Oil soap to wash up with and or shave with or both... how'd is work out?
I used a tea tree oil shampoo to help with dandruff once. It worked wonders for the dandruff but dried the rest of my hair out and was too expensive to keep up with it.

no u need a scrub to get all that excess dirt off. the bar isnt doing a thing but cleaning the surface, u need to go beyond the surface.
no it is soooo bad for it so u should use rubbing acohol for your face it gets rid of acne and opens your pours
No, I wouldn't recommend a bar of soap.

    Your skin becomes dry.

    Printed in El Mundo, 8/11/2007

PLEASE, DON'T EVER COME BACK AGAIN

Dear Rangers supporters- never come back to Barcelona again.

And not because your players themselves aren’t a legitimate team.

No, it’s not because of that- the Nou Camp frequently hosts teams who are lazy, boring, who only defend,

who run and kick their opponents, and who shouldn’t be in elite competition.

On top of this, Rangers merely defend, run at the opposition

and play dirty. Their defenders are butchers, their midfielders, heavy-footed; and

their strikers just stand there like the furniture.

But even apart from the footballing aspect, the best thing would be for Rangers never

to return to Barcelona, because every time they do, they make a mess of the place. 35

years ago, you (the Rangers supporters) destroyed the seats at the Nou Camp. This

time we have enjoyed no less than 48 hours of brawls, provocation, rackets, fights and

common drunk women throughout the whole city, which you have fouled however

    you pleased.

Stay at home and vomit in your own living-room, urinate in your sitting-room

corners, fight with your neighbours, the Celtic supporters (who deserve a prize just for

putting up with you) and foul the streets of Glasgow instead. Don’t come back here

again, because it is not a laughing matter. And, by extension, don’t play in the

Champions’ League either. You are not at that level neither in a sporting nor human

    sense.

There are noisy groups of supporters who, although they drink vast amounts of beer,

make friends at the same time. But you? Not you, because everywhere you go, you

turn into a rubbish tip. You are undesirables. And so are those who fraudulently sell,

or “rent out” their tickets. These people screw Barca over, because they trade their

season tickets illegally. And in doing this they cause massive annoyance for other

members of the club. A true Barcelona fan would not re-sell their ticket for the match.

If you are not going to the match, give it to a family member, or you could even use

the 'Seient Lliure' service (an automated ticket service used by some Spanish clubs

    including Barcelona).

From now on, the responsibility lies with UEFA and the club itself to ensure who the

ticket is sold to. The best thing for all of us would be that you as a supporter, in a

moment of lucidity, decide not to travel if you do not have tickets. As that is never

going to happen, those who sell the tickets illegally must be brought to justice. But the

best thing would be if we never had to play Rangers again.

Have a read at that katie. Funny how that didn't get into the Scottish papers me thinks.

    That's Why We're Paranoid.
Whit a lot a pish, 5star IBROX like their training

Malks a strong old fashioned carbolic soap would not was away the years of shame they have caused this country. I mean look at the kind of 'supporter' they have in our good friend Mr Poof, a boy who does not go to games and yet brings in other IDs to try and abuse the Celtic fans or anyone else who disagrees with him. Is he indicitive of Rangers fans? I hope not and as you know we have met some really decent Rangers fans whilst here in Scotland. It's not them all but as kids growing up, we were subject to what is religious bigotry, on a daily basis and nothing was done about it, in fact it seemed to be encouraged. I am glad that things have gotten better if not yet fixed, at least it's frowned upon now. It will take a lot more than soap to wash clean this stain on thier history books.

Angela dear I can confirm to you that my brother and I have become financially well off, through our own endeavours. Our family is a large one and such was our parents teachings that, if you desire something so bad you will find a way of getting it. We were encouraged but never bank rolled, we were supported but any mistakes we made in business, we sorted on our own. It would not be acceptable any other way. If that is self made then that is what we are. Our company is a mix of two products that compliment each other and Malks heads up one team and I the other. As brothers tend to do for life, we are very competitive with each other and it is that part of our family life that lends itself so well to our business. I fear for people nowadays because when we were growing up having the only car in the street was seen as a status symbol but now the guy on the dole has two on hire purchase. Its a must have world and a pay later attitude.
Dude, I have no idea what your talking about, but the question itself sounds hilarious! I guess your having issues, just like we do with USC's fans sucking balls!

Just don't stick your pet in the tub with the water running because that scares the heck out of them and they can injure themselves. just fill the tub with lukewarm water to about their knees. What is the best soap to use to wash rabbits?
I have heard that Dawn dishwashing liquid is used to clean the fur of animals caught in an oil spill because it is mild. Look it up.
YOU CANNOT WASH RABBITS IT IS A HAZARD AND CAN SEND THEM INTO SHOCK OR GIVE THEM A HEART ATTACK. NEVER WASH YOUR RABBIT IT WILL CLEAN ITSELF!
Either use the wipes you find at pet stores, or a paper towel dabbed with water. You don't want to put soap on his feet because he could ingest it when he's grooming.
They make a bunny wash, you can pick it up at like PetsWay, or probably any pet supply place.
    Lava
    ACME soap, of course.
    axe body wash.

What is the best soap to use to wash your face?

Im referring to a soap, not a facial cleaner. So any suggestions. What is the best soap to use to wash your face?
soap r not meant to wash ur face. soaps actually causes dryness of the skin. if u don't wanna use a cleanser then u can use johnson's face wash. it doesn't have any soap in it and is made to clean the face. What is the best soap to use to wash your face?
you should not wash your face with soap. It leaves a film on your face but if you must use one dove moisterizing bar
Soaps are not good to skin. Use face-wash like pears etc.
if u have oily skin go for Avene , if normal (Usa cleanser)
If you must use a soap (and not a cleanser %26amp; toner routine) try to find a very gentle one, maybe one that contains some moisturiser; soap is very drying.
There's a brand called Simple and their soap is hypoallergenic.
u should never use soap to wash ur face.
I use oil of olay or dove. I have very sensitive skin and this seems to work. Also when you dry your face pat it instead of rubbing. For me whenever I rub my face with a towel after washing it. I always get a break out no matter how clean the towel is. But when I pat no break outs.
    Oil Of Olay or Cashmere.
i dont use soap for face , but sometimes use palmolive and camey i like their smell!
i do not use soap on my face, but I heard Ivory because it is pure.
Prefer GRADE 1 soaps. Depends on your skin type you can select among the Grade1 soaps. Ex: if you have oily skin don't go for moisturiser. Prefer grade1 Glyserine soaps.

If you have any doubts about your skin type consult a Skin specialist.
    use any gycerine soap
    Depends on your skin !

    Consult with a doctor !
well for a soap dove works great

Neutrogena庐 Facial Cleansing Bar is great afterwards you can feel the difference after 1 or 2 uses
    neutrogena
None! I heard soap dries your skin and it hardens the sebrum in your pores.

When did your child graduate from baby wash to regular soap?

I don't use baby wash on my 2-year-old son. I use regular soap and shampoo. How about you, mommies? When did your child graduate from baby wash to regular soap?
i started using adult dove soap on my son before the age of 1 because the doctor recommended itWhen did your child graduate from baby wash to regular soap?
We only use Aveeno Body wash in our house we have the regular as well as the lavender scented which is great for calming down and snuggling in bed, I have been using it since I can remember I don't ever remember using soap because my mother never liked the ';gunk'; that it left after it got wet. I've always used Pantene shampoo and conditioner on my daughter as well as my own hair.
I have a 2 yr old girl and I don't use shampoo or soap. I use natural body wash and that is also hair wash. Johnson's Baby Shampoo has deadly chemicals in them. I refuse to wash my child's hair with arsenic, formaldehyde, and a few others. Also, do not use Tide Laundry Detergent- it contains crushed glass to give clothes a ';shiny'; look.
Our younger two still use kids soap and shampoo. It isn't called baby but more in a fun kids type bottle that says it won't burn the eyes.

Our kids use kids soap which is for washing too. It's kids body soap.
I do the same...he's old enough now that I can tell him to close his eyes while I rinse his hair and we haven't had any sensitivity issues, so we're on all the same products now! His blonde is looking great with my vibrant blonde shampoo...lol

What can I use to wash my car with if I don't have car washing soap?

If you don't have the proper car-wash soap use clear water. Never, I repeat, never use dish-washing detergent. Don't use shampoo and don't use laundry detergent. EVER! These products are not designed to be used to clean a car's finish. What can I use to wash my car with if I don't have car washing soap?
Listen to ';Top-Down';! Dish soap is a detergent, it is a harsh soap made to use on porcelain, and hard surfaces.

Car soap is a ';soft'; soap, will not streak, and won't harm you paint. What can I use to wash my car with if I don't have car washing soap?
I always take mine to the car wash.
I always use just a squirt of my dish washing liquid (dawn) . It always works for me .
Use a low sudsing soap - any kind of laundry detergent that is liquid will do, or some general purpose cleaners like Murphy Oil Soap. I would avoid dish soap because it creates too many suds.
use dish soap.... or use shampoo... shampoo is harder t orinse off though. i use dish soap on mine.

If concerned about tomatoes being contaminated with salmonella, if you wash them with soap?

Will soap kill that bacteria? With lots of fruits I fill the sink with warm water and some dish soap, give them a little wash and then a really good rinse. Would that kill samonella?

Thanks! If concerned about tomatoes being contaminated with salmonella, if you wash them with soap?
    according to the fda

    this question is noted here:

    http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~dms/tomatqa.ht鈥?/a>

answer: nope!If concerned about tomatoes being contaminated with salmonella, if you wash them with soap?
no, soap won't do the trick.

you can get vegetable wash at most grocery stores, there's several brands, but its usually right in the produce section. its a very mild bleach, not enough to hurt a person... but enough to kill salmonella.
I think the dishwashing soap would be a bigger concern... I've never washed fruit or vegies (except to remove visible dirt), and I've never had food poisioning...

  • What type of soap/body wash do you recommend?

Oil of Olay liquid body wash, if you want silky soft smooth skin, and do not want to have to apply lotion after your shower, it is the best I have ever used, I LOVE IT!

Use AXE body wash even if u r a gurl it Rocks
Do you use Dial ?, don't you wish everyone did ?
Dial have very good body washes. They smell great to for him or her. so if you don't want to clutter up your shower/tub with tons of bottles. Just buy one body wash. You %26amp; your partner can use the same one
It depends on your skin type. Personally, I love IRISH SPRING soap and get lots of compliments about how I smell when I wear it. However, some people think it dries your skin too much.

For those of us with oily skin, it's great though! It leaves me smelling really clean after I work-out and sweat a lot.

I have friends with sensitive skin who use soap made with goat's milk and they swear by it.
    Preferably medicated and fragrant.
The home made type soaps with natual products added in them.
I agree with H-man, but I think a lady needs a good rub on skin conditioner for parts of the body.
I started using Bath %26amp; Body Works庐 Signature Collection

Creamy Body Wash: Japanese Cherry Blossom. It smells absolutely heavenly.
irish spring or axe they smell great
It depends on the type of skin that you have. I use Earth Origin, a papaya soap with moisturizer. I use Dove soap when the weather is cold so that my skin will not get dry.
I have always used conditioning shampoo. Right now I use Paul Mitchell.
Hi, Just use the regular stuff that is cheapest, that way you can spend a little more on deodorant and perfume.

Soap is to clean the body and not to make you smell all pretty. That's what the other stuff is for.

Your mate from the Deep Deep South.

    H-man
I love something that smells nice and lingers on my skin afterwards. Dove is good for that. It's creamy and moisturizing. I also really enjoy the Aveeno Stress Relieving Body Wash with lavender. I don't know if it really relieves my stress, but it does smell really nice and it's gentle on my skin.

Is it okay to use liquid hand soap as body wash?

Can you use Dawn Dish soap as body wash and shampoo?

I ran out of body wash yesterday and am in need of my daily shower. I dont have a car to get to the store and was wondering if Dawn soap could be used as shampoo and body wash or if it would be bad for your hair if put in it.Can you use Dawn Dish soap as body wash and shampoo?
    yes you can

mark kCan you use Dawn Dish soap as body wash and shampoo?
Any types of dish washing soaps are bad for your hair and skin. There are certain types of chemicals in there that just aren't made for skin and hair. They can badly damage both, they'll become very dry. And most of all your hair will look awful, dish washing soap will cause your hair to scrunchy, knotty, and frizzy. Im pretty sure you dont want that. But I hope I helped =]
No!! That will dry out your skin and hair and is just gross!

Since you can't get to a store, just get in the shower and get your washcloth wet and use it like that with out soap. But i would suggest buying soap ASAP!
Yes it can, but it may dry out your skin and hair. Make sure if you do use it, put some conditioner in your hair if you have any in the house. Get real body wash and shampoo as soon as you can.
my guy friend used dawn to get the hair die out of his hair and well...lets just say it was an awful shade of orange

My dog just got into some liquid car wash soap/wax. Not sure how much he may have eaten. Should I be worried

Nothing on the label about being harmful if swallowed or anyting. About 1/2 of the gallon sized bottle is now gone, but much of it had soaked into the dirt. My dog was nowhere near the bottle when I found it, but there are clear teeth punctures. My dog just got into some liquid car wash soap/wax. Not sure how much he may have eaten. Should I be worried
Call the Animal Poison Hotline immediatly - have the bottle ready so you can read the label to them! here is the number -

1-888-232-8870 -- there is a fee but IT IS WORTH IT-- everyone who owns pets should post this number...do not induce vomiting or any other treatment before calling them! Different poisons need different treatments! My dog just got into some liquid car wash soap/wax. Not sure how much he may have eaten. Should I be worried
Just relax. See how he reacts to it. If he begins to show signs of discomfort, call the vet. To save yourself an office visit though, maybe call a 24 hour vet clinic to consult with a tech. Don't panic though....most likely he will just start feeling sick and throw back up whatever he drank. Try and estimate how much actually just fell on the ground.
well if it has a poison control number then call it if they cant help call a vet and he may have to run a few test to check for poison or other harmful liquid's just to be safe i know i am very protective about my pets and if that had happend i would be very worried like you
Call the poison control or the company who makes the soap. If it dosn't say toxic on the bottle, it probably isn't but you need to call some where to be sure.
Have the container with you as you go to the EMERGENCY VET. They will have to call the Poison Control Hotline to get the antidote and treatment. They can read the ingredients and help your dog quickly.
Call the vet -possibly try and induce vomiting -you can't be sure.... Vomiting can be induced by giving the dog a few tablespoons of hydrogen pyroxide.
Call your vet definately but also just keep an eye on how your dog is acting my vet told me to pour peroxide down my dogs throat when he got into some tomatoes( which are poisonous) to make them throw up!

    ---Dog trainer
888-426-4435 Call the Animal Poison Control Center and tell them all you can. Call now!
quickly neutralize it with an acidous food such as a fruit or something.

NO FIRST GET HIM TO REGURGITATE( VOMIT) it all out

If it were MY dog, I'd be on the phone with a vet rather than typing on my computer.

In addition, I do have sensitive skin, so I was looking at Dove Sensitive Skin Body Wash which is soap free. Are these just intended to be used with soap, or am I getting just as clean with the Dove body wash as I would with bar soap?Do Body Wash and Soap Free Cleansers get you clean?

Yes its just soap still does the job just no more bar of slippery soap

Whats the difference betwen bar soap and body wash?

I love Dove beauty soap because it only like what? 2$ but the dove Body wash is like... 6$ at the store... besides that its obviously more expensive what the heck is the difference? Do you get more in the body wash? Isn't it the same ingredients? Anyone know? Thanks.Whats the difference betwen bar soap and body wash?
I don't know. I guess that's because body wash can be soap free and some people are allergic to soap. But my mom's the opposite, let me tell you this. She's allergic to body wash.Whats the difference betwen bar soap and body wash?
i think it is because soap just gets smaller and turns into a little lump, but body wash comes in a nice little container and comes in different scents.
    bar soap= 7 letters.

    body wash= 8 letters.

4$ for one extra letter= ripoff. Buy the bar soap!
    Don't buy Dove. It's not soap. It's a detergent.

Can I use soap to wash my hair?

I keep forgetting buy a new bottle of shampoo. So meanwhile I was just using a bar of soap. It seems to be working just as fine. Can I switch to soap all together? Can I use soap to wash my hair?
NO! It is fine for a quick solution until you buy more shampoo but it will DRY your hair out BIG TIME!Can I use soap to wash my hair?
Soap wasn't made to clean hair. Write down that you need shampoo.
Yuck, no. Watch out for soap scum.
It really depends on your soap. Many commercial soaps are really detergents, as is your shampoo. If you find your hair is still in good shape then there is no reason not to continue.

True soaps are more problematic - but that would be evident after only a few uses, if not after the first. True soaps can roughen the cuticle on the hair shaft, and form soap scum with hard water. Either can result in rough, dry, sticky hair.

    So forge ahead.
Actually, if you use a 100% natural soap then your hair will be fine. Dove contains many chemicals that will damage your hair... good alternatives would be Lush or Olivia Care.
NO!!!! it will break your hair off and dry it out and split ends will occur
if you want extreme dandruff then go for it lol
Soap will dry your hair out.

unless you buy body wash. not a BAR of soap.

Body wash like suave has conditioning in it.

and that works just as well.

so i would reccomend that instead of BAR soap.

and it only sells for 1.99$ at walmart and meijer.

Can I wash These with Soap for Colors?

I Bought clorox for colors so my shirts wouldnt get faded but I have some white shirts with colored designs on them like blue and like gray but the designs are like a little plastic idk how to explain it. I also have a white track jacket that needs washing. I wanted to know if I can wash these and how I should wash them. This is my first time doing laundry so I need good advice. Best Answer gets 10 points! Can I wash These with Soap for Colors?
    Place clothes in washer

Put your Cycle TEMP on Warm

Put your LOAD SIZE on Large

Start the water filling up the machine

Place in your detergent, a capful of Clorox for colors on top of the clothes..(on the lid of your washer may tell you exactly what way your manufacturer wants you to do this..IE: water and detergent then clothes, etc.)

Either in a Downy ball or a FABRIC SOFTNER dispenser, place the fabric softner in it (dilute it with water -about a capful or 2 is good, if it's attached to the washer)

**If you don't have either of the above parts, then when the rinse cycle comes on and the washer is filled with water, add a capful of Fabric Softner.

When clothes are done, place in dryer and dry on Medium Heat for 30-60 minutes, depending on thickness of material.

If you dry anything on HIGH besides towels, it will cause shrinkage and some fabrics will melt.

Yes, just put them in the washer and they should all come out great if you do all the above things.

If you think the shirts that have ';plastic'; will melt, then hang them on a plastic hanger outside and they will dry that way, they'll be kind of stiff, but they'll also be the same as they were when you put them in the washer.

EDIT: I reread your question and I am now taking it as you think CLOROX for COLORS is soap, it is NOT, it's bleach for colored clothing...just wanted to make sure you had the detergent as well. good day!

  • Is it better to wash fruit with soap, or is water enough?

Somebody told me to wash fruit with soap after getting them from the grocery store (or produce market, or where ever) because it helps get rid of the pesticides they use. Is it true? Or is it enough to just use regular tap water? Is it better to wash fruit with soap, or is water enough?
There is a product called VEGGIE WASH for washing pesticides, wax, dirt, fingerprints and chemicals off of your produce ! Only $5. I only use warm water, but now that I think about it= its still pretty gross... I hate when you can actually see fingerprints on your fruit- dat's nasty.

Make your own if you'd like:

http://planetgreen.discovery.com/home-ga鈥?/a>Is it better to wash fruit with soap, or is water enough?
not all sorts of soap can be used so be careful. try to check at home centers if there are available soaps in your area to be used for washing veggies and fruits. these kinds of soap is really different from the ones you will use for dishwashing your plates, clothes, bathroom, etc. it is a specialized one for food process. if not, you will be killing not only the pesticide but the protein itself from the fruits. anyways, tap water is enough. just wash it well and drain.
If its Organic, then water is plenty.

If its not... warm water! Unless you can guarantee you rinsed your food off completely 100% then I would not touch soap to your food.

Warm water and let sit back in the fridge for a few min to chill it!
    The more the merrier.

But seriously, yeah, soap is better..have you tried rinsing them off them just water? You can sill feel the stuff the market sprays on them!!! Try warm water and soap..better to be safe =)
If I plan to eat the whole fruit with the skin I wash it with soap first. Fruit used to have a layer of pesticides in the past, but it's much better now.
    regular tap water is fine

if youre trying to avoid pesticides go organic. soap cannot remove pesticides, theyre like in the dna of the produce
soap is not for food.. just use tap water, as long as the water is clean.
I believe regular old water is enough. You might get sick from the soap!
I use just water. I really don't think soap is a good idea.
washing it with water is find
just water is fine that's all I use

Is it okay for adults to use BABY PRODUCTS like Soap, Body wash, shampoo?

i would like to use nivea baby cream soapIs it okay for adults to use BABY PRODUCTS like Soap, Body wash, shampoo?
    Of course!

You'd be suprised how many people use baby products on themselves.

Baby products usually have the same basic ';ingrediants'; yet on a much gentler/lesser scale. Many people use baby products due to incredibly sensitive skin that would be irritated by normal products.

The only thing I wouldn't really use on myself would be soap intended for babies, since the soap is not nearly as strong as may leave you a little less fresh than normal. Is it okay for adults to use BABY PRODUCTS like Soap, Body wash, shampoo?
Yes, especially if you have sensitive skin!

It really just means it is sensitive enough for a baby, and you can use pretty much anything they can.
yeah definitely! i personally love baby products because theyre so gentle on me.
Absolutely! Most of them are more gentle too. Nivea is a good product.
Yeah, they've just got a more neutral pH for baby skin.

A bar of soap makes my skin feel clean then toward the end of my shower , I use a body wash for the scent, rinsing lightly. Why do people find a bar of soap gross? body wash? What do you choose?
go with what you like. not everyone likes the same thing. If they did there would be only one thing made
When you leave soap in the dish the bottom of the bar gets all nasty or if it dries out that's awful. It completely loses it's pretty bar look and then is nasty looking. Body wash smells good too so that's always desirable.
For me body wash is the best, when I use bar soap my skin feels dry.
soap has the last person slime on it. body wash is always fresh out of the bottle
some people in a house of more than one dont like the idea of using soap someone else used because of using it on certain body parts
This is strange.. for years, I used bar soap and thought nothing of it. But, something was on tv about the germs or something being left on a bar of soap, and it must have left some kind of impression on me because I now prefer to use liquid soap. At my own house, I know who has used a bar of soap and where it's been. At someone else's house, I don't. Sounds odd, and I haven't always been that way at all. But again, it was something I heard on the news or tv and it disgusted me enough to switch!
I LOVED body wash, until the price went up to $6 a bottle. I decided to make myself like bar soap again, and now I prefer that. Liquid soap is sickeningly expensive.

Ah, if you lather up REALLY good one time on your wash cloth BEFORE you begin to wash, you don't have to worry about the ';what was the last part of my body I washed with'; problem.
What is the last thing that you wash with a bar of soap?

What is the first thing that you wash with a bar of soap? Think about that the next time that you get in the shower.
I suppose if you share your shower, body wash might be more comfortable for the squeamish. Bars of soap show dirt if not rinsed, hairs get embedded, etc...

In the end, they do the same job, and the bar of soap will often be cheaper.
Body wash, immediate suds %26amp; nice to shave my legs. I think bar soap leaves a film.
Our problem is that my boyfriend is a Mechanical Engineer and I am a Nanny and we both have skin issues. And we share soap. I am terribly dry in winter and I overheat and sweat easily in the summer. He is a little dry and very sensitive, plus he has night sweats. Not to mention he comes home covered in grease, oil, dirt, and anything else you could imagine in a warehouse because he works on site all day. I come home sweaty and covered in anything from peanut butter and toothpaste to spaghetti sauce and drool. Neither of us wanted something with a strong scent because I am around kids during the day with little sensitive noses and we both often shower at night and who can sleep if it smells like Sephora? After trying a ton of different bars (which we ended up scrapping because they either get slimy, drip down the tray and leave soap scum, or end up covered in tiny body hairs which is gross) we ended up trying loads of body washes. They cost a little bit more based on how often you can use them, but you get a better lather and you can find great kinds that have extra moisture like we need with our dry skin. Plus, being a liquid there is no messy bar lying around in the shower. We ended up with what has become our favorite...St. Ives FresH20. Its moisturizing, gentle, lathers well, leaves you feeling clean unlike most body washes. I used to be a slave to the bar because body wash never left me feeling clean. This stuff is great though. It also has a fresh light scent that doesnt smell antiseptic or like deodorant soap, doesnt compete with perfumes or colognes, and works great as a unisex smell. I think a good test of body wash is to buy a kind you might like to try and squirt some on the counter. Leave it all day and then see the consistency when you come home. If it looks like gooey hair gel, its probably full of a goopy sticky soap that leaves you feeling, well, goopy and sticky. Plus that means it didnt have much moisture. If it has the consistency of a soft bar soap, then youre working with the best of both worlds.
bar soap makes me feel water proof. i feel all dry and like all the moisture was sucked out of my skin. and its kinda gross b/c you use it to wash off dirty stuff on you, and then you put it down, let germs settle on it, and then get in the shower and use it again. now you have the germs from your previous shower and all the germs that settled, all being put back on your body. nassssty.
Hi Neon, Bar soap harbors germs and cross contamination can occur. It usually leaves a gooey mess and soap scum on the tub or shower.Liquid soaps are used to avoid other peoples germs, viruses and such. It rinses easier and leaves minimal residue and no mess. It also cleans up easier than bar soap. Some people are concerned that one person will use the bar soap on their anus and genital area and those germs will be passed on to another person's hands which defeats the purpose of hand washing. Just something to think about. Have a great day.
We use both. My husband uses uses deodorant bar soap on areas where her may perspire, and body wash everywhere else. I use facial soap on my face, deodorant soap on underarms %26amp; privates %26amp; bodywash everywhere else.
I use what smells good and is on sale LOL!

Currently I am using a bar (That is what we use 95% of the time!)
I can't ever get any body wash to make me feel clean. I sometimes get acrried away and use half the body to make bubbles. lol

I all of a sudden developed skin allergys. So I can't use most any body washes or anything harsh or I will break out in hives. So I now use Dove, mild unscented bar soap. It leaves my skin very moisturised and clean. So bar soap for me!
I am a big believer in the bar of soap! I have tried to use body wash, but I never feel clean. Sometimes I will use body wash after using a bar of soap for the softening aspect of it.
Don't you think each person in the household should have their own private bar? And diaper wipes are a must to clean yourself after potty! No- I'm not neurotic!-Just picky!
hand and body wash is far more hygienic than bar soap. you can pick up germs on a bar of soap.so hand and body wash every time please.
Too many people when using soap rub the bar all over their body and if you share a shower and soap, you are sharing bacteria and exchanging dead skin cells. With body wash you only touch what you use and usually one uses a loofa (which I hope is not shared - i don't even share that with my boyfriend). So, body wash is simply more sanitary.
I choose body-wash, specifically because it eliminates the wet , soggy soap in the soap dish, if you notice all built-in soap dishes are located in the perfect place to catch water, which it does; melting the bars of soap that are put there, where as the bottles of body-wash can be sat on a shelf or in that very same place and not get messy. Also body-wash is already liquid, and goes onto the skin easily, no rubbing soap onto the skin or the bath towel.
body wash i think it is much cleaner than bar soap just cause you get hair on bar soap and that is gross if it is not yours.
We use bar soap lathered onto a wet washcloth in the tub/shower. We have so many kids in and out of the shower/tubs at our house I have to open 3 bars of Dove unscented per week. The Dove moisturizing body washes are okay, very nice suds and all, but the scents make me want to hurl. It's a scent thing for me. My kids and husband don't care either way, they use what's in the bathrooms without complaining....so far so good.
I don't use soap anymore. It drys out my skin and I hate to pick it up when I drop it and then when it is almost gone, it leaves scum on the soap dish. I use a Body Wash from Bed, Bath and beyond that is wonderful and there is no scum to deal with.
I like the bar of soap. But I can see why some people might not like it. They probably think Oh' gross every ones hands have been on this, so that might be the reason. So they choose the liquid because you squeeze it out of a bottle.
i like tea tree bar soap. it is soooo refreshing. the smell is amazing and it is really really good for your skin.

...plus i think body wash is just too moisturizing for me...i dont like to feel greasy
Soap for a bath, and body wash for a shower
the chemicals content in most bodywashes are suspected of being partly responsible for cancer. Take at look at the contents. Much safer with a bar of soap with more natural ingredients. Take a look at the contents onthese products, you will be amazed..and confused.lo

Ive changed back to soap now after years of exspensive bodywashes
i would choose body wash because if u had someone over to stay the night they used it its practiclly been on someone elses body
I don't like either one. I like to go to the car wash take off my clothes get in the bed of my pickup when it automatically starts pulling the pick through and get soaped, rinsed and dried automatically and then get back in the cab and get dressed.

Do bald people use shampoo or soap to wash their head?

Just wondering.Do bald people use shampoo or soap to wash their head?
I use soap. Why would you waste your money in shampoo since there is no hair left and the skin on your scalp is the same as the rest of your body.Do bald people use shampoo or soap to wash their head?
shampoo is for hair. If someone is bald, then they have no hair, just skin, which is what regular soap is for. So I'd go with, no, of course not.
    Shampoo all the way!

Shampoo has all those delicious vitamins for your skin not only your hair
my dad uses head and shoulders 2 in 1 conditioner
whatever they wana use it dosent affect their hair grow becausse they are bald
    shampoo and conditioneer
    Soap i should think.

or do what Homer Simpson does, stick your head in the bowling ball shinner.
no they just use soap....my friend is bald he washes his head with soap....
    They just use soap
    They just use soap!

This is one of the best questions i have seen lol. I would say shower gel
    Just shower foam..
Mr Sheen!! everyone knows that! ; )
i would of thought it was soap lol

  • My dishes look worse after I clean them in the dishwasher and I use the best soap to wash them, what' up?

First were the dishes rinsed of major food items before putting em in. Pull the bottom rack out and check the drain screen, is it clogged or clean, and is the water draining?

When it was loaded did the spray arm turn smoothly or was it blocked by a knife or fork sticking out the bottom rack? turn it on then open the door quickly to see it turn. Maybe take the spray arm out and clean it out inside by shaking it over the sink...you can often see stuff blocking the holes in the arm...so it doesn't turn or clean well....you don't need a new DW until all else failsMy dishes look worse after I clean them in the dishwasher and I use the best soap to wash them, what' up?
hard warterMy dishes look worse after I clean them in the dishwasher and I use the best soap to wash them, what' up?
If it isn't a hard water problem (well water), it could be the water temperature. Most dishwasher detergents need at least 130 to 140 degrees to dissolve. It could be the heater in your machine that is not working. Even some liquids need this temp.
its your water. if you want to fix the problem, the best company to look to is called rainsoft. look them up.
check and make sure the drain in the dishwasher is not clogged with dirty water.

Jet dry will help with hard spots. and always make sure the Dry button is flipped to the on position.

When loading it make sure you are not blocking the center hole where the arm comes up to spray the dishes.
Do you have a water softener. It may need more salt. Try rinsing them under water and drying them the old fashoned way.
u need to get a new dish washer

What's your favorite soap and body wash? How long are you in the shower?

    I'll start.

Ivory bar soap and a body wash and i usually buy ones I think smell good no matter what the brand is even store brands.

the ones i have now are:

    Caress Berry Indulgence

    Caress Daily Silk

Suave (some coconut scented one)What's your favorite soap and body wash? How long are you in the shower?
The one place I absolutely splurge and spoil myself is with bath stuff. And I have a lot of it that I use on different days depending on my mood. =) I use Pureology shampoo and conditioner, volumizing (which smells like heaven) or clarifying shampoo followed by reconstructive conditioner, or Bath and Body Works shampoo and conditioner, pink grapefruit or coconut lime verbena. Glytone facial clenser, which everyone with acne problems should use, I have naturally horrible skin, but I am crystal clear! Like 10 different bath and body works glycerine soaps. I stock up on them in June and January during their sale. Those soaps are only $1 a bar then! Bath and Body works shower gel, about 6 different ones (again bought during the sale for about $4 a bottle). My favs are magnolia blossom, white cherry blossom, gardina, coco cabana, coconut lime verbena... I think those are all the ones I have. I love Victoria Secret sugar scrub body by victoria, but it's expensive, so I usually get one bottle for Christmas, and don't buy it unless it's on sale. I like St. Ives exfoliater.

Then, on my face- Jan Marini daily antioxidant moisturizer spf 30; legs if I shave- Lubriderm spf 15 non scented followed by Neutrogena sesame body oil (just a little), and usually throughout the day I use Bath and Body Works lotion Flowering Herbs on my hands. It's discontinued, but I found it at the sale in January and bought about 6 bottles!!

I think tomorrow it will be Pureology volumizing, freesia glycerine soap, and if i shave... gardina shower gel. =)

I usually spend 10 minutes in the shower unless I'm not in a hurry, then it could be up to 1/2 hour.

This was fun. Pamper yourself, you're worth it!!What's your favorite soap and body wash? How long are you in the shower?
I freaking love the pomegranate mango softsoap. it smells so good even after a 5 min shower. i dont stay in the shower for longer than 15 mins cause i have no time soaking in water.
My favorite shampoo is hydra TLC Sunsilk. It is the ONLY shampoo that really helps my hair on anything. My favorite soap is also the Coconut scented suave one. My favorite face wash is Morning burst shine control from clean n' clear.

I am usually in the shower 15 minutes!
I sometimes use Ivory soap but I also use Tone sugar glow. Its awesome. lol
I have the same bodywash (Suave Tropical Coconut). It smells divine. I like their Sweet Pea and Violet one, too--smells like Bath %26amp; Body Works but much cheaper. But my favorite body wash is a discontinued Tone one--Tropical something-or-other. Smelled like the Suave Tropical Coconut, but much better, and more moisturizing.

My fav. bar soaps are Yardley English Lavender, Yardley English Rose, and Ivory with Aloe.

Showers range from 12-45 minutes, depending on whether I wash my hair, shave my legs, etc.
I use some Irish Spring soap cause it smells nice. I'm usually in the shower for about 20-30 mins. I'm trying to cut down on my shower time... but I just can't seem to spend less time in the shower.

What part of the vagina should u not wash with soap?

when people say not to wash the inside of your vagina..i often get confused. does that mean you shouldnt wash the inside of your lips? What part of the vagina should u not wash with soap?
Yeah.. just rinse the inside of the lips really well.

I wouldn't use soap. What part of the vagina should u not wash with soap?
You can wash the outside with soap (like where the hair is) as for inside the lips i would just rinse it with water ... and dont do anything any firther inside your vagina because that could be dangerous. The vagina cleans itself out naturally (thats why you get discharge)
    Truthfull any part of it.

    http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/…

Your vagina is IN you not out of you. You can wash everything else except your vagina because that is considered douching.
It's safe to wash anything you can easily rinse off, including the inside of the lips. However, do not wash inside the vagina (canal) itself because you will upset the natural balance and get a yeast infection.
labia flaps are sensitive to harsh detergent cleansers , i think.

Is it okay to use a face wash and soap together ?

i have neutrogena acne prone facial soap bar %26amp; clearasil ultra daily face wash. will my skin be left with no oil %26amp; start to overproduce if i do these together ? if so, which should i use ?Is it okay to use a face wash and soap together ?
OMGOODNESS!!! Your skin on your face will disolve...what r u thinking????? They form a chemical acid and will burn your hands off too!!! PS Dove cloggs your pours from the cheap moisturizer in it, but it had a pleasant perfume. Is it okay to use a face wash and soap together ?
i think the combination is a little too strong for your face. i would suggest you dont use both at the same time, say one in the morning and the other in the evening. Betterstill, use same brand products as this will complement eachother and there is no fear of counter-reaction with the products.
clearasil makes a great product but I'm old and don't have acne anymore...but two harsh things will likely burn your face. I would use one in the am and one in the pm. see how that works. use witch hazel in between. it's cheap and is a great astringent. I've been using it for years and people think my daughter and I are twins, ok...I wish :)
are you prone to have oily face texture? if not, using both at the same time for a prolong period of time can leave your skin texture over dried and looking dead.

if you have a normal skin texture, you can try using OLAY facial form for a daily usage and apply toner and moisturizer after that. This will leave your skin supple and clean.
neutrogena is no good use dove it will help u with u'r oil and perfect 2 go!
Hi Anonymous.I use a face wash and soap together and it has NOT dissolved my skin as someone mentioned to you.lol

I have been doing this for two months and its the clearest two months my face has ever been.I am so confident in my skin now, that I dont wear makeup everytime I go out.And when I do wear makeup I only use eyeliner and lipgloss.

Nutrogena NEVER worked for me.I use Black Opal fade bar and Avon Blackhead Clearing Cleanser together and they work MARVELOUS.Remember that everyone has different skintypes,so what may work for me may not do the same for you.

I think the important thing about using the two products together is not forgetting to TONE and MOISTURIZE after. If you over wash your face it will start to overproduce oil.Just wash twice a day, tone and moisturize and you should be okay.Oh and you should only use a small amount of the wash for each wash.

Hope you find a routine that works for you.Have a great day and Smile :)

Can i use regular soap to wash my puppy or something else?

You can get puppy shampoo at wal-mart for about $3.....if you can't afford to buy the things that dogs NEED, then maybe you shouldn't own one.Can i use regular soap to wash my puppy or something else?
If you have a young puppy go to a pet store and find one that is safe for its age and weight. But if it is very young it isn't a good idea to bathe it. If it has a horrible flea problem and you need to wash it, use dial dishwashing soap, make sure you don't get it in its eyes! and try not to get its head to wet. start at the crown and work back to the tail. get a ring around the collar and that will stop fleas from going to the head. But seriously only bath it with dial if it has fleas, otherwise get a puppy shampoo and only bathe it when it really needs it, because it can catch a chill and get sick. Can i use regular soap to wash my puppy or something else?
use dog shampoo - you can usually find it at your vet's office or a pet store.
No, it's much too harsh for their skin. You need to buy dog shampoo.
I agree with goldwing...... baby shampoo is cheap and very gentle! :) Enjoy your new pup! :)
no they have many allergies use dog shampoo
If can effet the body odor and your puppy might shead. Go to the folling web page it might help www.puppycare.gov I hope this help good luck!
Use baby shampoo..works great, very gentle, and doesn't sting their eyes if it gets in them. Good luck
no more tears baby shampoo .
i would use dog shampoo with conditioner it makes their skin less itchy and less likely to have problems in the future with his her skin.
In a pinch or emergency you can use human shampoo or Dawn dish soap but it is really not something you want to do on a regular basis. Human shampoos are too harsh and have the wrong pH; even baby shampoo is not gentle enough. It strips the coat of natural oils needed for healthy skin.
They make puppy shampoo. go to the pet store and get some OK. All the other soaps and shampoo's are too harsh for your pups tender skin.
yes but it will be drying to the skin and coat. It would be good to use if you are trying to remove grease or oil. Home product wise you should use 1 oz of shampoo mixed with 15 oz of water. If you need to kill fleas use dish soap at the same dilution and let it sit on your dog for @ 5 - 7 minutes.( Then go to the vet and get front line pluse) The best products are made for dogs. I prefer Tropiclean products and Tomlyn Milk Bath products.
DONT WASH YOUR DOG! You can rinse him off, but soaps and shampoos deplete the natural oil in his coat and will make him smell worse in the long run. Unless he is ridiculously dirty from say skunk or dead animal, stay away from washing your dog.
No, you need a pet shampoo. If the pup is under twelve weeks old, a bath is likely not needed.
    just use dog shampoo.
No! You will mess the puppy's coat up1 They have dog shampoo and we have regular shampoo!
I use people shampoo or baby wash on my dogs, but if cant get dog shampoo or baby shampoo then you can also use liquid dish washing soap.
You can, but it is good to get dog soap. At Petco and Pet Mart they have dog soap and you can probably find soap at you're local dog store.

What is the most affordable, all natural hand soap and body wash?

Previously, I was using Method brand..but now I see that has quite a few chemicals as well. Is there a brand that won't break the bank, but is chemical free? What is the most affordable, all natural hand soap and body wash?
I like Dr. Bronners. good soap with lots of crazy philosophy to read on the bottle. What is the most affordable, all natural hand soap and body wash?
The Body Shop (not bath and body works) makes an excellent line of products. The ingredients in their line also has a lot of all natural things in it. Plus it is good for the environment because their plastic bottles are made out of 33% recycled plastic...and they are working on make that a greater number. But anyways I swear by ALL their products. Their hand products are wonderful. and I absolutely love the skin care line. Its been the only thing that really works well for me. You can get them in the mall....or they even have HOME parties now, where the host can get things cheaper. That to me is the way to go. Plus, in the store, they have a card where you earn points. On your birthday you get $10 in free product alone.
Pork fat and lye. Hey, you wanted natural.

please leave religion out.If you were bald would you use shampoo or regular soap to wash your head?
i would pray to God to clean my head, and if it didn't get clean then he must want me to be dirty. If you were bald would you use shampoo or regular soap to wash your head?
would it matter, you're still wasting soap
    ha ha great doubt!
Shampoo. Though there may not look like there is not any hair, there are hair glands on your head. Regular soap can irritate it, and can cause you discompfort. Go with the shampoo.
    Soap, it's just skin.
My boyfriend is bald and he uses regular bar soap.
I'd use the same soap I use on my face and I would cream my scalp...(it will get dry too...)

i use both and i only use certain kinds like caresse the oil enfussions , and johnsons baby soap , and i love the body wash from bath and body works ....
Only body wash and preferably only the original green Vitabath.
    shower foam!

    coz of the convenience~

the bar soap is wayy too slippery.. plus some brands dont really lather like it's supposed to..
i have a soap bar, but then i rub it on a loofah and use that :P
I use Body Wash only because I think bar soaps are rough on your skin.
    body wash
    Bar Soap

Do you like bar soap or body wash better?

I use them both. Probably bar soap more though. For body wash I just have w/e smells good and for bar soap I use dove unscented for sensitive skin.Do you like bar soap or body wash better?
i prefer body wash but i do use bar soap too.Do you like bar soap or body wash better?
I use both. I use body wash mostly in Winter. I have oily skin, and live in Los Angeles where temperatures are mild most of the year. Body washes make me break out on my back, and don't really get me clean enough except in Winter, when my skin is a bit drier.

Also, my favourite bar soap (Pr茅 De Prov猫nce), has real crushed herbs in it that exfoliates dead skin, and leaves me smooth.
Body Wash, Avon has some great ones, check it out.

    www.youravon.com/andreswaters
I only use body wash because bar soap is very soapy and after you wash your body with bar soap it gets all squeky and stuff
Bar soap is actually bad for your skin. Its actually drying out your skin. Use body wash.
    Body Washhhhh!
I like body wash cause they have different sweet smells. Bar soap to me doesn't smell so good.
    Body wash is better.-
I prefer body wash.My favorite is pear glace from Victoria's Secret. :)
    body wash
Body Wash- Dove is the best
use body wash, but use soap too, esp dove soap
Oil of Olay body wash, love that stuff
That sounds fine. I use the same thing. :)
I don't use either. I have a special bath oil and it is fab!!!
