What is the best car soap to wash a black paint with?

So i have a black Chevy truck...the paint is in excellent condition but I don't want to keep getting it waxed because its expensive so just wondering if their is a good car soap especially for black paint that will leave the paint looking like it just got waxed...?What is the best car soap to wash a black paint with?
A good soap is important but also the dilution ratio as well. This is a commonly overlooked factor. Even the most gently soap when used too much will strip your wax. Pay attention to the dilution instructions on the manufacturers label.

I like either Duragloss 901 or Meguiar's Gold Class soap. What is the best car soap to wash a black paint with?
Soap isn't a wax, so it's not going to make your paint look like it was just waxed. The main purpose of soap is to lubricate the surface so when you wash the car with the mitt, you are removing the dirt without scratching the paint.

However, properly maintaining your paint between waxing will keep it in better condition, and make the full detail process quicker and easier. Great paint is more than just a wash and wax-there is a five step process to a full detail that keeps paint looking showroom new. There's a how to here: http://www.squidoo.com/showcardetailing that details that process. Doing that about 2-3 times a year, washing regularly and waxing about every month will keep your paint looking beautiful.
Just like there are shampoos with conditioner there are vehicle soaps with a conditioner in it. I especially like Mothers or Eagle 1, but there are many other our there
Maguires, hands down, It will make it shine like it's never shined before. I use it, and it is awesome.
